This is the Official Home Page for the launch of my "Monastery Collection." "Bringing the Ancient Sanctuary into the Modern Home."TM A collection of Fine Home Furnishings brought together and designed specifically for the spiritually minded home owner. These items and designs are offered to the Trade and to the Public through my website and by catalogue.
Please follow the links below and learn what "The Monastery Style" for the home is all about. As a former young acolyte of the Sacre Couer Convent in Vancouver B.C. I was heavily influenced by the designs and art of the Catholic Church and the feelings of spirituality, peace, comfort and even awe which these designs and objects elicited. Though I formally broke from the Catholic Church many years ago, the Sacre Couer Sisters, with whom I traveled to Europe to visit all the sacred shrines, instilled in me a deep sense of ancient tradition and civilization. I feel that the traditions of art, design and architecture of the Christian East and West are the foundations of Western Culture. Bringing these elements into the home as a design source and style will evoke the same sensations and feelings in those clients who want the feeling of spiritual sanctuary in their home today.
